Performance Assessments Identify High Performance Opportunities

The experienced specialists at Building Momentum Group™ can conduct performance assessments to help building owners lower lifecycle costs, increase ROI, and improve tenant satisfaction. Improving building performance often leads to “soft” benefits, like improved employee well-being, fewer sick days, and increased employee productivity. Building Momentum Group offers three distinct audits.

Level I

A Walk-thru Assessment surveys all performance aspects and develops low-cost/no-cost recommendations to increase building performance. It includes a general assessment of LEED prerequisites, an ENERGY STAR score, and operational best practices and summarizes potential capital cost improvement items. BMG’s Walk-thru Assessment meets the requirements of an ASHRAE Level I audit.

Level II

Our Performance Survey and Analysis investigates the costs and ROI of the capital cost items identified in the Level I report. It provides a detailed, holistic report of findings and suggestions for achieving ENERGY STAR, LEED, High Performance and Net-Zero Energy status. BMG’s Performance Survey and Analysis meets the requirements of an ASHRAE Level II audit.

Level III

Our Advanced Assessment provides the information owners need to make confident decisions about the risks and rewards of moving ahead with performance improvements. It includes analyses such as modeling and explores the investment opportunities of selected capital improvements. The report includes fiscal strategies as they relate to suggested capital improvements and detailed backup information that provides confidence in the report’s recommendations. BMG’s Advanced Audit meets the requirements of an ASHRAE Level III audit.
